plugins sind eine tolle sache, weil sie die funktionalitäten von wordpress um einige nützliche dinge erweitern – hier eine live generierte liste der von mir verwendeten plugins auf dieser seite:

wie kann man plugins finden? zum einem auf www.wp-plugins.net, aber eine andere gute methode ist auf google nach wordpress “plugins used” zu suchen – mal sehen, was andere so für plugins verwenden 😉

User Profile Hive Cleanup Service

On Windows 2000 the service deals with application event log event 1000 from source Userenv where the message indicates that the profile is not unloading and the error is “Access is denied”. On Windows XP and Windows 2003 the equivalent events are 1517 and 1524 from source Userenv.

To accomplish this the service monitors for logged off users that still have hives loaded. When that happens the service determines which applications have handles opened to the hives and releases them. It logs the application name and what registry keys where left open. After this the system finishes unloading the profile.

neues wordpress, neues design, neue plugins

nachdem ich auf meiner dev seite schon länger mit der neuen wordpress version gespielt hatte (also ein neues template auf basis von dem “sharepoint-like” template mit den traumhaften neuen funktionalitäten erstellt und viele neue plugins getestet habe) habe ich das upgrade auf version 1.5.1.2 nun durchgezogen – und es hat aufgrund der vorbereitung auch ohne auch nur dem kleinsten problem funktioniert 🙂

im zuge dessen gibt es nun gesetzeskonform (obwohl es hier unterschiedliche auffassungen z.b. in der futurezone oder im wcm gibt) auch ein impressum – gut sichtbar rechts oben 😉

nun steht noch das upgrade vom bautagebuch an; dort verwende ich allerdings das plugin exhibit – und ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es dann auch so glatt ablaufen wird – das muss ich eben erst testen
