Yesterday Microsoft announced that Virtual Server 2005 R2 is now available as a free download. This also will apply to the forthcoming service pack 1 of Virtual Server 2005 R2.

die alte version hatte einige bugs; daher gibt es nun eine neue zum download.
geändert hat sich auch, dass nur noch die maximalen werte von created, accessed und lastmodified ausgegeben werden. weiters wird die größe in bytes ausgegeben.

wenn man auf einem fileshare wissen möchte, wann die verzeichnisse auf erster ebene das letzte mal geändert oder verwendet wurden bzw wann dort das letzte mal ein file erstellt wurde, so muss man alle files und subfolder in diesem verzeichnis rekursiv durchgehen - händisch also mehr als mühsam bzw eher unmöglich.
