seit kurzem gibt es den preview von windows server 2003 r2 zum download für jeden - diese version ist für 180 tage funktionsfähig (die 64 bit version 360 tage). vergleichbar ist die r2 in etwa mit der windows 98 second edition - also verbesserungen, aber kein komplett neues betriebssystem.

microsoft hat ein neues whitepaper über die neuerungen im windows 2003 sp1 herausgegeben - z.b. gibts erweiterungen beim distributed file system (dfs), beim domain controller diagnostic tool (dcdiag), oder natürlich die access-based enumeration….
nicht vergessen: mit dem sp1 ist auch das neue adminpack fällig!
