früher als gedacht – und daher für mich zuerst unbemerkt – gibt es wsus 3 bereits zum download! war schon in der beta mehr als brauchbar…
was im internet explorer praktisch ist, wäre es doch auch beim windows explorer – doch dort gibt es dieses feature leider nicht.
doch mit einem kleinen tool kann man diese fehlende funktionalität nachrüsten: QT TabBar – funktioniert für xp und vista
rdp ist eine feine sache. allerdings eignet sich der client von microsoft nicht wirklich für einen admin, der mehrere (oder gar viele) server betreuen muss.
doch es gibt natürlich tools, die diese aufgabe ohne probleme erfüllen:
– royal ts – war das erste der art, das ich gefunden habe; und ich verwende es immer noch 
– visionapp remote desktop – mit dem man auch username/password profile anlegen kann. hat damals bei mir nicht funktioniert, also bin ich bei royal ts geblieben
– murd – hört sich sehr gut an – ist aber nicht kostenlos
was verwendet ihr?
mithilfe des openxml translators ist es möglich, aus word xp, 2003 und 2007 das odf-format (opendocument-fomat von openoffice.org) zu verwenden; also sowohl öffnen als auch schreiben – das funktioniert erstaunlich gut. später soll es dies auch für excel und powerpoint geben. schade, dass office dies nicht per default kann, denn dann wäre ein wichtiges hindernis für eine migration nach openoffice beseitigt…
