nachdem ich 34% des spieles durchhabe muss ich meine vorherige aussage etwas relativieren; ich bin zwar nach wie vor der meinung, dass die “alten” larry spiele besser waren, aber sooooo schlecht ist der neue teil auch wieder nicht: sex sells, das war schon immer so.

Leisure Suit Larry – Magna Cum Laude
gestern habe ich von meinen netten arbeitskollegen das spiel Leisure Suit Larry – Magna Cum Laude für die xbox geschenkt bekommen (nochmals tausend dank!) – und musste es natürlich sofort spielen.
doch der “neue” larry (die spielfigur ist nun larry lovage, der neffe des larry laffer) hat mit den guten alten folgen nicht mehr viel gemeinsam: es handelt sich nicht mehr um ein “adventure” im klassischen sinne, sondern man(n) muss nur die torten (= lt. anleitung tussies oder mädls) “anbraten”. wie macht man das? indem man “mini-games” spielt – z.b. muss man eine kleine spermie steuern: fährt man über die grünen smileys, füllt sich das herz links; fährt man über die roten teufel-smileys, leert es sich wieder…
geistreich, gell? 🙁

, ich vermisse dich. dein neffe kann dich nicht ersetzen. daher höre ich mir noch mal alle titelmelodien aus deinen abenteuern an und erinnere mich an die schönen zeiten zurück, als ein larry spiel noch fesselnd spannend war…

wo haben diese datenbanken repliken?
werden die datenbanken überhaupt noch verwendet?
sind einstellungen wie z.b. “AllowMoreFields” aktiviert?
klar kann man das alles “händisch” per administrator herausfinden; doch besser wäre es natürlich, wenn die daten automatisch gesammelt werden würden und man diese nur noch auswerten muss.
genau das soll diese domino datenbank bieten; wie man an der versionsnummer erkennen kann noch nicht zur gänze – aber sie ist schon mal ganz praktisch.
